Most metal and energy counters were trading with gains on Thursday amid declining numbers of new
coronavirus cases from China.
China had 394 new cases on Wednesday, the lowest since January 23. More than 2,100 people have died from
the coronavirus in China, with eight deaths in other countries but not including the two from the quarantined
cruise ship in Japan.
Crude oil gained 0.18 per cent to Rs 3,857, while gold and silver jumped 0.23 per cent and 0.55 per cent,
respectively. Copper, on the other hand, was down 0.24 per cent to Rs 430.25.
